"content": "sitting time is not that long. Just four hours, three times a week with the exception of Wednesday. Virtually every other evening, many of you do not remain in the House with the exception of maybe Sen. Mungatana, Sen. Cherarkey. Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale also does a fairly good job. There are hardly 10 Senators who see the rise of the House at 6.30 p.m., every other afternoon, and we must learn to practice that. From the old people that I found in this House when I came here, they would stay until 6.30 p.m. and they were fairly very senior people; people who had served as Cabinet Ministers, and so on and so forth. I wish my colleagues in this current Thirteenth Parliament could borrow that practice, because for some reason, people actually find it hard to stay until 6.30 p.m. Madam Temporary Speaker, I appreciate the two colleagues who contributed to this Bill. I know there are many others who would have wished to, but such is work. I have become accustomed to this, actually, that on many occasions when I move Bills, two, three other people speak, the rest say, oh, we want to put this to a vote, so that we conclude. Nonetheless, we have to make do with what we have. With those many remarks, I beg to reply. Madam Temporary Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order No.66(3), I want to request the deferment of the putting of a question until a later date. I thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker."
