"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. We have a response to the request that was made by Hon. Mbui, who actually attended the meeting where the Cabinet Secretary was summoned. The question was on the status of disbursement of capitation funds to schools. The question had four components, which we wish to report to as follows. This is a report on the status of disbursement of capitation funds to public schools for Term 1 of 2025, including the total amount currently owed to schools due to delays in disbursement. Every enrolled learner in public primary schools is entitled to receive a total of Ksh1,420 per year. The funds are disbursed to schools at the beginning of every term through two bank accounts as summarised below:"
