I will be proposing an amendment to provide for Political Parties and Independent Candidates Fund so that the Fund considers interests of Members elected on Independent tickets. Under Section 26 of the Act, the purpose of the Fund is to: 1. Promote the representation by Members of Parliament. 2. To cover election expenses. 3. To cover administrative and staff expenses."
