Even as we start preparing the Budget because the Budget process will proceed while we are on recess, I want to hope that one of the issues that the Government will look into, is adjusting the ceiling of the various budget sectors. Here, I am particulary thinking of the infrastructure and agriculture sectors. It is disturbing that we are singing about Vision 2030 but we are forgetting that unless we make massive investments in infrastructure to regenerate our infrastructure and in agriculture, there is absolutely no way we can power this country to the realisation of Vision 2030."
