    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, research has shown that if we can deal with those simple things, we can reduce diseases by 50 or 60 per cent. That is why I also want to urge this House that as we prepare for Budget, we seek to allocate more money for preventive health care. This is because it is cheaper, more practical and maintains a healthy nation. A lot of money has been going to curative medicine. When a patient is in hospital, money has to be used to cater for that patient. If we put more money in preventive health care, we will be able to cut down on diseases."
