    "content": "On the issue of food, as we go out we know that our people are very hungry, indeed. But I want to say here that the Government has allocated a lot of money for irrigation water. We are putting in place--- For the first time, we are doing several large dams for irrigation purposes; some are in the Rift Valley. We have one in Kiserian, which is going to cost Kshs1 billion, and Chemusus, also in the Rift Valley, is going to cost close to Kshs4 billion. Another one in Ukambani is going to cost close to Kshs850 million, among those other places. We are putting more money into water. This is something that I felt that hon. Members should take note of what we are doing instead of just pouring cold water on everything that we are doing. I can assure you that with the Kazi kwa Vijana Programme that is being put in place, we will see more and more people being engaged in meaningful productive activities."
