    "content": "(b) The British Government paid 21,841,427 Sterling Pounds only as terminal benefits for the Kenyans who worked for the defunct East African Community. I assure the House that the money was paid to and continues to be paid to former employees of the East African Community only, who were the deserving persons. The money was paid as per the agreed divisions to the three Governments of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The Government of Kenya received 42 per cent of the money which was held and managed by the Crown Agents in the United Kingdom."
