Allow us to ask the Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee to explain to Kenyans why this Office has close to Ksh3 billion for recurrent expenditure and only Ksh100 million for development. He needs to explain what the Office of the Deputy President does that requires a whopping Ksh3 billion and yet, there are no drugs in hospitals, there is no capitation for schools and people are being killed every day and night. We need an explanation on what this allocation is about. Thank you, Hon. Chairlady."
