    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Chairlady. We have really rationalised this Vote. If you remember, the previous office holder used to have Ksh5 billion in this office. We have only Ksh3 billion today. This is a constitutional office. The Office of the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya assists the President of Kenya to run the country. It is not an office where somebody spends money without working. The Deputy President assists the President to manage the affairs of the country. So, this Vote is justified. In fact, the office requires even more money. We rationalised this Vote, in line with the revenue projections that we have at the moment. Thank you.
