Members, the country and indeed, the House, plead with the Select Committee to understand as much as possible the spectre that was displayed today in front of Kenyans and the plenary of the House, is one we cannot be proud of. We had a Select Committee which had the responsibility to do its job as perfectly as possible and take as much time as possible. Indeed, what we have seen now is Members of the Select Committee have disagreed on the Floor of the House. That in itself does not augur well for the image of both the Select Committee and the House at large."
