Her body was later transported to St. Mary’s Mission Hospital Mortuary in Mumias. The post-mortem examination conducted on the 21st April contradicted the initial gunshot claim revealing that Madam Wanga died due to internal bleeding resulting from sharp-force trauma sustained during an assault.
