    "content": "The people of Lamu are very familiar with marginalisation. We have been marginalised since Independence. For example, the Assistant Minister has just said that he has come up with some solutions and proposals which need Cabinet approval. Ever since we got Independence in 1963, there has never been a Minister from Lamu District. That, itself, is marginalisation. We have never been represented in the Cabinet. So, I hope when the Assistant Minister goes to the Cabinet with that Paper, he will represent our interests, because we have never been represented in the Cabinet since Independence."
