With regard to KPC, a decision was made in May, 2005, by the Government, which owned the Kipevu Oil Storage Facility (KOSF) to adjust the storage tariff charged from US$2 to US$3 per cubic litre. That enhanced tariff was made to address the increased operational costs and the cost of additional storage facility constructed at KOSF."
