    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. My statement is with regards to threat of Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) and its deadly impact on child health in Kenya and across Africa. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.53(1) to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Health on a matter of national concern regarding the public health threat posed by AMR, particularly regarding its impact on child health in Kenya and across the African continent. Mr. Speaker, Sir, a recent global study has linked over 659,000 child deaths in Africa that occurred in 2022 to anti-microbial resistance infections with Kenya identified The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
