The reason why we give money to teachers SACCOs is that some of the places in this country particularly rural areas do not have banking institutions. To enable the youth in those areas to access the money from this Fund, we have gone ahead to give it to teacher SACCOs because teachers are everywhere in this country. This will ensure that they are able to assist the youth in those areas to get the funds. It is only in those areas where there are no banks that we give money to teacher SACCOs or even farmers SACCOs so that it can reach the youth."
