    "content": "Arising from these losses, insurance companies have been able to compensate on ex-gratia basis some of the losses, at least, 50 per cent of the losses incurred. However, one of the biggest insurance companies in Kenya, which has consistently reaped profits from Kisumu business people, Kenindia Assurance Company, has refused to pay any iota of ex-gratia payments. What is the Ministry doing to consult with this particular company, so that it can pay, at least, part of the loss that business people suffered?"
