    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as I have stated, the Voi-Taveta Road which is A23 is about 111 kilometres long and at present, the Voi-Mwatate section which is of bitumen standard is 25 kilometres, while the rest of the road to Taveta is of gravel standard. Construction and supervision is estimated to cost about Kshs7.5 billion and as we wait for that money to be availed in the next financial year, my Ministry is in the process of allocating funds for spots improvement which are still being done. I wish to state that in the year 2007/2008, we allocated Kshs1.58 million and in 2008/2009, we allocated Kshs1.65 million for spots improvement on this road."
