    "content": "We are an independent country. We are sovereign in all respects as was explained here yesterday during the same debate by eminent lawyers, lawyers who value the sovereignty that cannot be sacrificed for anything. Wars have been fought all over the world over sovereignty. People have offered to be killed to defend their own sovereignty, yet in this House we seem to have a few people who think that the alternative to the amendment to the Constitution is to allow those involved in the skirmishes of last year to be taken to the Hague. In the same token, if they are taken to the Hague, we shall cede our own sovereignty, and we will cease to be sovereign. Unless this House is saying that we have given up our sovereignty, for anybody to suggest that matters which we can handle in this country should be handled in foreign courts, that person would rather never have been born."
