    "content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, with regard to price control and advice from the NESC, I want to state that, indeed, under the Energy Act, the Minister has power to regulate the prices of petroleum products. However, the law does not apply in a vacuum. It takes into account the economic, social and political circumstances prevailing in a country in which it is being implemented. What the NESC requested us to do is to explore market mechanisms of regulating those prices.
