    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to assure the Member that the loans owed by the coffee farmers to the tune of Kshs3.2 billion have, indeed, been written off. The money has been paid to the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, which had advanced the money to the farmers. Some of the loans have been written off. The coffee farmers do not owe any money to the Government as of now."
