First, the basis on which the recommendation was made to the House for Mr. Kimunya to appear before the Committee of Powers and Privileges is the allegation that he told a lie; that he did not tell the truth. On the question of whether or not a sale had taken place when he spoke on 29th April, it turns out to be that the signing of the agreement was done on 8th May. Therefore, there was no basis for that recommendation."
