    "content": "We, as Members of Parliament, are also paid from the Consolidated Fund. We draw our money from State coffers. It is very unfortunate that we do the same work that councillors do. Councillors and mayors are representatives of the people. They are elected through the ballot on the same day Members of Parliament and the President are elected. Therefore, there is no reason whatsoever for us to discriminate against councillors by not paying them from the Consolidated Fund."
