Members will recall that one of the agreements at Serena Hotel was that we appoint a \"baby\" commission, or a commission that would quickly inquire into the circumstances surrounding the post-election violence, report back within three months and give us a way forward on how to resolve issues that arose as a result of the post-election violence. That Commission was formed with the clear knowledge that we will still have a Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TRJC), which would then deal with the historical injustices and other matters."
