"content": "Let us, therefore, also use this opportunity to respond to these inequalities and use the law in a humane manner when responding to the challenges of our time. A year ago, uniformed police officers pummelt citizens and killed them in cold blood in the midst of this whole process. It is unacceptable that today, 12 months down the line, police officers are using the same brutality against unarmed and harmless teachers merely because they are agitating in expression of their constitutional right. So, let our pursuit of justice be holistic. Let it be a continuum. Let it be reflected and manifested in all levels of our society. I am using this opportunity to urge the Government to stop the mistreatment, harassment and threats against the teachers and instead strike a deal with them so that our schools can go back to normalcy."
