Members of Parliament are mostly in Nairobi and they rely on their councillors on the ground to move around and ensure that they respond to the social problems that bedevil our people. It is, therefore, unfair for the President and Members of Parliament to be paid and, yet, other leaders, who are the councillors, are ignored."
