    "content": "(Mr. Omingo): Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also rise to support this very important Motion. I happen to have been here last year. What caused us to stumble by the way side is grandstanding and mutual mistrust. We did not even read what was readable to the extent that, even when we were nearing an agreement, we punctured it at the eleventh hour. I do not want to remind Kenyans of the history that we went through. Perhaps, if we agreed, Kenya would not have what it had at the beginning of this year. I want to say this--- Mr. Speaker, Sir, if you allowed me to give an analogy, we are all one as a nation. What we lack is caring for your brother. There is an example that I like giving, that of supporting one another. There was that woman who cooked a delicious meal. She gave her two twin sons a long spoon to serve and eat. Those sons could not eat because each of them was selfish. They wanted to pick the spoon and feed themselves. The uncle who walked in to save the situation told them: \"Guys, if you continue like this, all of you are going to die of starvation. What you need to do is this: Love your brother and feed each other.\" They all fed on the delicious meal. That is what we require as a nation. It is not us against them, but collective responsibility. I want to plead we should not--- I am in this team and I pray that we talk with honesty and sincerity. When we agree as a team, let us support one another. It does not help to come and talk to the gallery to look good. All of us are involved in the process. We will require the membership of this House to help this team to succeed. We cannot do it alone. It is courtesy of this team and the rest of the country to be honest to each other and together I am too sure we shall succeed in less than one year. With those few remarks, I beg to support."
