I want to thank the Assistant Minister for the answer that he has given. But I want to indicate to him that irrigation schemes in the country, including Perkerra Irrigation Scheme, are in a serious state of neglect. I do not think that is a matter of water because there is water in Kano Irrigation Scheme and, yet, there is nothing that is going on in that scheme. What is the Ministry's policy regarding irrigation schemes that are already operational, like Perkerra Irrigation Scheme?"
