    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, if you look at the economic growth in the year 2002, you will realise that it was nearly negative. The economy started growing at a rate of 2 per cent, 3 per cent, 4 per cent and culminated with 7 per cent in 2007. That stability was disturbed by the post election violence and global prices in mid year, including the prices of oil that shot up. They had their own spiral effects. It is envisaged in Vision 2030 that, if Kenya's economy was to attain a 10 per cent growth for ten years, the impact would be felt. We would eradicate poverty in this country."
