    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, as you can see, the issue has generated a lot of interest, because most of us are barraged by teachers trying to come to Nairobi to sort out their problems. He said that retirement notices are given two years before retirement. That is very good, but what can be done so that by the time of retirement, the teachers, either on the date of retirement or within three months, can go home with their cheques and, if possible, even have a ceremony to reward the hardworking members of the society who have toiled for more than 30 years and then they are discarded like used tissue paper with no pension?"
