    "content": " Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to reply. (a) The rehabilitation of the Majengo-Luanda Road has not stalled but the contractor has moved out of site after exhausting the contracted quantities in the current contract. (b) The contract sum was Kshs34,867,644 and was to cover a three-kilometre section of the road. The scope of the work was to do base repairs, pothole patching and regulation, overlaying using asphaltic concrete type one, 35 millimetres think; and shoulder reinstatement. (c) The Ministry, through the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has advertised tenders for the rehabilitation of the remaining section and the works are expected to commence once the procurement process is finalised."
