    "content": "Thank you very much, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker. Thank you, Madam Minister, for giving me this opportunity. I stand here to support the Bill. I will be very quick and I will not repeat myself. Basically, I am not a scientist but I have children who are learning science. Two of them are reading biotechnology, and I would like to see that when they come to Kenya, they will have work to do. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I would like to convince my colleagues, who are against the Bill, that, maybe, people like me who are afraid of change should embrace it. By bringing in the Biosafety Bill, we are only doing justice to this country. As has already been mentioned, it will protect and build our food reserves. With those few remarks, I beg to support."
