    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish to thank the Assistant Minister for that fairly elaborate answer. But my first concern to the Assistant Minister is: The collapse of those negotiations meant that Kenyan farmers are threatened with cheap imports especially from European Union EU and countries in America. Does that not mean, therefore, that, right now, they are exposed to those unfair trade practices from those major countries? What is the Ministry doing to ensure that, in the absence of those agreements, our farmers are protected against that unfair competition?"
