I have gone through the answer and it seems to imply an attrition rate of just under 10 per cent. That rate is too high for a disciplined service. Does it imply that our recruitment methods are flawed and we are recruiting the wrong people? Is it that the administration of the police force is at fault and so we are ending up with such a high attrition rate? It is unexpected to have that sort of attrition rate in a disciplined service."
