    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, the First Schedule be amended by deleting paragraph (6) and substituting therefor the following:- 6.The Minister shall within seven days of receipt of the names of the nominees under paragraph 5 forward the names of the persons nominated in accordance with that paragraph together with the names of the persons nominated under Section 7 of the Act to the President who shall, within seven days of receipt of the names, by notice in the Gazette, appoint them to be members of the Committee of Experts. The essence of the amendment is to ensure the timeliness of the process from the time the National Assembly approves the names and nominates them to the time the President gazettes the appointment of the members of the Committee of Experts."
