"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the hon. Member knows very well that in Kenya, we practise free economy which is controlled by the market. We have been doing this for a very long time. However, because sometimes we have found out that the free economy does not work, we have to take care of our people to make sure that they have enough food at a reasonable price. That is why even the Minister for Energy announced, the other day, that the Government is going to regulate fuel prices. Those are some of the measures the Government is under-taking because of the crisis we have. I want to emphasize that this crisis is not only in Kenya, it affects the whole world."
