(a) Could the Minister explain why he purported to appoint members to the Coffee Board of Kenya through Gazette Notice No.9190 of 3rd October, 2008, in contravention of Section 4(a) of the Coffee Act, 2001? (b) Could he degazette the appointments and confirm when the bona fide Board of Directors members will be appointed in accordance with the said legal provisions?"
