    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, aware that cancer has become a significant killer disease in Kenya; further aware that it is a very painful disease with no known cure; recognising that it has not been given priority by successive Governments in Kenya; cognizant of the fact that some forms of cancer can be prevented and other types cured if diagnosed early; this House grants leave to introduce a Bill for an Act of Parliament entitled The National Cancer Control and Prevention Bill, 2008, to tackle prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, palliative care to cancer patients with the ultimate goal of reducing the incidence and prevalence of all preventable forms of cancer and ensuring that all patients diagnosed with any form of cancer have access to medical care, and for related matters."
