    "content": "asked the Minister for Transport:- (a) whether he could disclose the total amount to be loaned to the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) by the Japanese Government as well as the terms and conditions attached to the loan; (b) whether he could indicate the amount budgeted for in respect of consultancy, the construction component and equipment to be supplied by the Japanese Government; (c) whether he could table the Japanese companies that have formed joint ventures with Kenyan partners for the purpose of offering services as suppliers in the above arrangement; and, (d) whether he could explain why Kenyan companies are not involved in the above venture."
