    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I asked this Question at the end of May and it has taken five and half months to be answered, yet from the answer it looks like it was a very easy Question to answer. I asked this Question because of my worry for the sugar-cane farmers. When I got the information that the SDF was being increased from Kshs3.2 billion to Kshs4 billion, I realised that, that was a 25 per cent increase. Right now sugarcane farmers are really suffering! In fact, they are getting no profit, or debits at the end of every season. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, however, now that you have mentioned that the amendment will be raised through profits accruing from loan repayments, what I would like to know is how much profit are you expecting from those loans, what part of it will go to \"Kilimo Biashara\" and how much will be retained at the Sugar Board for sugar-cane farmers?"
