    "content": "asked the Minister for Forestry and Wildlife:- (a) whether he is aware that Prosopis Juliflora commonly known as Mathenge weed is threatening the livelihood of people of Baringo District; (b) what steps the Government is taking to ensure that the residents of Baringo and their livestock are not negatively affected by the weed; and, (c) whether he could state when he will classify this plant as a noxious weed under the Suppression of Noxious Weeds Act, Cap.325 of the Laws of Kenya. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to clarify that the Courts have since given a ruling on the matter."
