You cannot be asking for contractors yet we are expecting you to give us the project proposal. We have written to the area Member of Parliament. Apparently Ms. S. Abdalla also comes from the constituency but in this case we wrote to the elected Member of Parliament. On the second issue, I wish to state that I have not blamed the Lamu CDFC. We have not tested the generators, therefore, at this point I cannot say they have erred or not done a good job or did something bad. No! I cannot say this until we test the generators. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, there are guidelines and standards to be followed when constructing low voltage networks. In all areas, whether there are trees, we have to have a power line. In that area, I think the standards were achieved because the work was done by the KPLC themselves."
