(b) Could the Minister explain why, in spite of the Government's undertaking to intervene, seeds and fertilizer prices continue to escalate and DAP fertilizer now retails at Kshs6,200 per bag? (c) What urgent measures is the Government taking to ensure that farmers are able to plant and stem imminent famine in the country as a result of the above situations?"
