    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when officers are appointed as, indeed, the case that happened recently with the Commissioner of Prisons, it is assumed that they will comply with the law and standing orders in place. The Commissioner of Police does not deal directly with police constables. The police constables are under the command of various commands. There is a chain of command in the Police Force. So, I do not think there should be any worry that the Police Commissioner will interfere directly with the cases on the ground. That is because those cases are dealt with at various levels. The final stage will be at the Appeals Board, which is yet to sit to deal with that particular situation."
