"content": " Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I rise to support the Motion for Adjournment for the following reasons. We 2448 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES August 7, 2008 have been here, in the House, and transacted a lot of important business for the period that we have been here. Time has come to do the other very important part of our business; to go and inspect projects and present cheques for the projects that are running. Money for the projects was released the other day and we have not been able to have time to go there and see that the CDF projects are running as they should. Even though we have committees on the ground, it is also very important, as Members of the House, to be on the ground to see that nothing is going wrong when this money is being used. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the fact that we have a lot of pending work, does not mean that we cannot adjourn. This House will always have work. This is my second term in Parliament and we have always had work to do. We deserve a rest so that when we come back, we will be energized, fresher and ready to look at those very pertinent issues that Members are raising. We have even constitutional matters that we should have dealt with. Since we feel that these matters are so important, we need enough time to digest them. We need enough time to read those Bills, so that when we come here, we are thoroughly prepared to look at them and make the right decision. If we hurry up some of these issues, we may not make the right decision. In particular, I want to mention the issue of the Grand Regency Hotel or the \"Kimunya Report.\" I do not see why one report of this House, when there are many other reports that are coming up, should make us not to adjourn, in order for us to look at it. The Report will be here when we come back---"
