    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise on a point of order under Standing Order No.20. I wish to submit my request to the House to suspend the rest of its business to discuss a definite urgent matter of national importance. This is the mater of the killings in Turkana South. Ordinary citizens of this Republic were attacked by bandits and killed in cold blood. They lost their lives and their livestock, which is their entire livelihood in a single raid. This took place in Lesti in Pokot District and Takas in East Baringo. They killed 46 herdsmen, injured 13 and 15 are unaccounted for. The death toll is still rising. The magnitude and scale of these killings can only lead to an impoverished community and the genesis of its demise both in terms of numerical and economical strength. If this is not a definite urgent matter of national importance, then what is it?"
