In view of the fact that this issue is generating a lot of questions and interest, I believe both inside and outside the House, it is the Chair's considered opinion that this matter, as hon. Dr. Kones said, be referred to the Departmental Committee on Health, Housing, Labour and Social Welfare to do a conclusive job. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this House is there, to transact business and handle matters as weighty as this, in order to leave no doubt in the minds of Kenyans that what is being said here or what will be tabled before this House, is essentially the truth and nothing but the truth. Under the circumstances, the Chair directs that the said Departmental Committee proceeds and carries out an exhaustive test on these allegations with the assistance of the relevant Government departments. It should come back to the House and inform it exactly what is the position."
