    "content": "asked the Minister for Transport:- (a) whether he could disclose when Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will compensate squatters, land owners and businesses that will be affected and displaced by encroachment of the New Port Development to be funded using the loan advanced by Japan Bank for International Development, stating the total amount of compensation; (b) whether he could also disclose the amount of money the KPA will spend to acquire land to be used for establishment of the new port through the loan; and, (c) whether he could confirm to the House what he intends to do to ensure the country does not incur unnecessary expenditure on the project."
