    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) Yes, I am aware that most of the buildings in Tambach Sub-District Hospital are dilapidated and require either rehabilitation or reconstruction. (b) Yes, I am further aware that the hospital has neither an x-ray machine nor a functional operation theatre. (c) In the current financial year 2008/2009, my Ministry will construct and equip an operating theatre at the hospital at the cost of Kshs5 million. This will enable the medical officer recently deployed in the hospital to handle basic surgical needs of the patients. Due to shortage of funds, this is the only intervention that my Ministry will implement in the current financial year. However, rehabilitation of buildings will be undertaken in the next financial year, subject to availability of funds."
