    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, in very specific terms, this year the KEBS will have a budget in excess of Kshs2 billion in order to ensure that its resources and its capability are enhanced. I should also say that I am delighted to inform the House that the entire International Standards Organization is, in fact, visiting this country. Today the organization's leadership is in this country. This is part of our efforts to ensure that we engage globally to protect Kenyan consumers and ensure that the KEBS is networked across the globe, so that in every source of goods, it is possible to verify that the goods meet standards and specifications before they are imported into our country ."
