"content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to support this Vote of the Ministry of Lands. First of all, I wish to congratulate the Minister for the manner in which he has presented the Budget of his Ministry. He covered quite a number of issues in his presentation. This is a key Ministry because of most of our people depend on land to get basic needs like food. I am, therefore, supporting the Vote so that this Ministry can be facilitated to ensure that land is available to the people of Kenya. The Minister has mentioned that the in past few years, they have been able to computerise the operations of the Ministry. I want to congratulate them for that. That is the way to go. I hope that, that is meant to increase efficiency. It should not be done casually."
